Sorry so long for an update. I have been superbusy and leave for a surf trip to CR tomorrow.
After having asked Gaucho for advice here is the hotel:
Lazy Hours
1316 S Oceanshore Blvd
Flagler Beach, FL 32136
(386) 439-3300
Chris says it is clean, about $60/night and you can walk right across the street and be in a nice break. Probably we will
hold this event at the hotel but there is a nearby park we might utilize.
For those of you wanting to bring family, there are nicer hotels. The only one where I've stayed is the Orchid Spa and
Hotel which is really nice for the lovely wives but also expensive. Pretty close to the Lazy Hours too.
There has not been an overwhelming response and it is hard to get a count but I'd say we are somewhere approaching ten
people.
For this year, let's handle the raffle through our West Coast brethren, so if anyone wants to, please contact
Todd (Boardhound).
I will be out of communication for the next twelve days, but I will respond to emails when I return:
jj19682004@yahoo.com
I'd love to hear from anyone who is coming so that I can get a better idea of attendance.
Thanks so much for your patience with me thus far!
James
