So...the Plantain is pretty awesome!  Well, from what I can glean from it from only a couple of small wave days.  I took it to Rincon on Thursday, where it was super small.  All I can say is this board can catch anything!  It paddles great, and, with its wide nose,  it's super stable.  I took it out at Bolsa today, where it was slightly bigger, and it was still a wave catching machine.  I got to get a few turns in.  Its not a "flickable" board but it does seem to like a long arcing bottom turn.  It has plenty of drive to push through white water and get back to the shoulder without too much drama.  It feels real "floaty" and hasn't pearled on me once.  It has kinda the same feel as my Noserider, but with more rocker.  I'm really looking forward to getting it into a little more size and on a longer wave like Doheny or SanO.  Overall, so far,  I'm totally jazzed with it!
