About a month ago I picked up my new 10' Noserider from your shop. H3 owners/Rocker

I own a 9'10" H3, and noticed the past couple of times while surfing with it, that my wave catching ability is somewhat limited, no matter what the
wave size too. I notice that the rocker on the H3 is more exaggerated than some of my other boards, didn't think this would matter, but it does. Or does
the rocker make catching waves a considerable difference especially on the H3 of the size I have?

new nose block

I lost my Classic into the jetty at Crabs, took a nice chunk out of the nose bigger than the repair on the Sol over the counter in the shop. I took it to Aloha Glassing where Matt Bettis put on a nose block and Steve glassed it. It turned out primo.

Rail Question

howdy all - just reading about different board configs., and wanted to know a little about rail analogy I see from time-to-time.. so what does 50/50 rails mean? and what is the diff between hard and soft rails? Do most long-boards have softer rails?

Fin Position

I took the fin off a 10-0 Rapier I just acquired without measuring or marking it's position and now need a little guidance on putting it back. I've seen references to 8.25" from the rear of the fin base to the rear of the board, but I understand the position affects the performance. I am looking for the most forgiving position, since I am still on training wheels. The fin looks like a standard 10" from Fiber Glas Fins.

On a side note, I'm ordering a new 10-6...

Bought a Harbour 5' 4" twin fin in 1972 - don't see any of these boards at beach (Avalon/Stone Harbor NJ, VA Beach).
It's kinda small for me but is enjoyed by a youngster. Someone at VA beach recognized, as if 'knock off' or real - was impressed with excellent condition and having got to see one. He said it's valuable and the youngster wants a long board.

Tail Shape Question

Looking through the surfboards section of the new website, which is great by the way, I was looking at the soft diamond tail, if you want to call it that, of the Stand Up Paddle board and wondering if that tail design would work, be fun, useful, etc on any of the Cruiser models? I'm guessing that tail shape helps with the turning ability for such a big board as the SUP. So I was thinking if that tail shape was applied to a San-O it may increase the turning / turn connect of the San-O. I...

I haven't been in the shop for over 6 weeks due to vacation, and it was nice to stop by after a pretty dang fun peaky session at the jetty;, tons of new boards, great looking Nose Riders, and as usual, the service was with a smile; sure makes buying a new leash more fun!
